Wyatt Weaver Band

The Wyatt Weaver Band is an Austin-based Southern rock group with a sound that pulls together Texas country, Red Dirt, blues and loose, guitar-heavy rock and roll.

Formed by singer-songwriter Wyatt Weaver in 2016, the band grew out of small Texas rooms and backroad bar gigs, gradually developing the rough-edged style they sometimes describe as “Southern hippie rock and roll.”

Their songs carry plenty of twang, but this is not polished radio country. The Wyatt Weaver Band leans into gritty vocals, heavy grooves and the kind of extended guitar work that feels more at home in a roadhouse than a dance hall.

Their catalog includes the 2018 album Western Medications along with later singles and EP releases. Live, they deliver a loud, easygoing Texas show that moves between alt-country storytelling, hillbilly blues and straight-ahead Southern rock.
