About
Willow Avalon (born Willow Martin, August 20, 1998, Carlton, Georgia) is an American country singer-songwriter signed to Atlantic Records—daughter of outsider musician Jim White, raised on gospel, classic country, and soul. She learned piano in church, taught herself guitar by twelve, left home as a teen, and worked her way from Georgia stages (including an early Drive-By Truckers open) through Los Angeles publishing years into a New York base.
Her breakout self-released single “Drivin’†and debut EP Stranger (2024) introduced a warm, vulnerable blend of country, Americana, folk, and alt-pop; full-length Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell (2025) and later work including Pink Pocket Pistol extended the outlaw-southern-belle persona. She writes, plays, and produces with a small circle of collaborators. Expect twang, grit, and intimate storytelling when Willow Avalon hits songwriter rooms and country-tour theaters.
