Wendy Jones

Wendy Elizabeth Jones is a Texas singer-songwriter whose music crosses the boundaries of blues, folk, pop and acoustic roots music. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, she has become part of the Austin music community while continuing to perform throughout Texas and the Gulf Coast.

Jones brings a soulful, expressive vocal style to songs shaped by personal storytelling, emotional honesty and a wide range of American musical influences. Her genre-crossing approach allows her performances to move naturally from intimate acoustic material to bluesier, rhythm-driven songs without being confined to one sound.

Her release Shades of Blue highlights the blues and soul elements in her songwriting while preserving the warm, conversational quality of her live performances. Whether appearing solo or accompanied by other musicians, Wendy Elizabeth Jones delivers thoughtful songs with a relaxed Texas spirit and a voice built for both quiet reflection and full-bodied blues.
