Wanderin Pine

Wanderin' Pine is a South Austin psychedelic folk project—often a duo of Eddie Robbins (acoustic guitar, vocals) and Alice Robbins (fiddle)—mixing folk, jazz, blues, and gentle psychedelia. Formed around 2022, they built a local footprint through Austin Artist Spotlight sessions, backyard recordings, club dates, and seasonal travel to Colorado mountain rooms. Their sound is feel-good and eclectic: rich acoustic voice over fiddle lines with improvisational color, original songs, and harmonies that reflect a married musical partnership. Online home base is wanderinpine.com with Instagram @wanderinpine and a growing catalog of live and session videos. The project also plays private events and weddings when the calendar allows. For folk and string-driven original music with a Texas-to-mountain wandering spirit, Wanderin Pine is one of the clearer local duo identities on the Austin acoustic and folk circuit.
