Very Busy People

Very Busy People is an Austin-based indie rock collective that blends psychedelic rock, jazz, folk, dance music and offbeat pop into a loose, constantly evolving sound. Formed in 2017, the group approaches its music with an experimental spirit, shifting between dreamy guitar passages, rhythmic grooves, relaxed vocals and arrangements that can feel both spontaneous and carefully constructed. The band has described its music as a response to the monotony and pressure of modern working life, summed up by the phrase “clocked in, tuned out.”
