Trip Trio

Trip Trio is Austin’s little combo with a large sound—Lissa Hattersley on lead vocals and guitar, Mike Barnes on lead guitar, Randy Glines on bass, and James Fenner on percussion—whose Elephant Room residencies, twenty EP heat, and Stevie Wonder-to-Prince-to-originals repertoire put groovy blues-soul-jazz craft on downtown club stages. Sometimes billed as Lissa Hattersley’s TripTrio; triptrioaustin.com and Facebook TripTrioAustin track where-to dates for rooms that want real jazz-soul craft, not soft soft-jazz wallpaper. Four players, still tripping every single night on the road and stage.

Expect groovy jazz-soul heat when Trip Trio hits the stage—ATX Elephant Room fire, not a random open-mic Trip karaoke.
