Tracy Byrd

Tracy Byrd is a Vicksburg, Mississippi–born country star who defined mid-’90s radio with Holdin’ Heaven (1993 Billboard Hot Country No. 1), then double-platinum No Ordinary Man: Watermelon Crawl, Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous, The First Step, and wedding-standard The Keeper of the Stars (1995 ACM Song of the Year). Later hits including I’m from the Country and Ten Rounds with José Cuervo kept the Texas–Louisiana honky-tonk party catalog packing fairgrounds and theaters; MCA/RCA/BNA eras and greatest-hits packages cemented 30+ charted singles across three decades. Live shows still lean on line-dance heat and ballad-night romance rather than modern pop-country gloss.
