Topdown

Topdown is Austin melodic post-hardcore—a five-piece of coastal transplants formed in 2024 with ’00s emo hooks, sludge choruses, and Deftones-adjacent magnetism under Texas bill pressure. Debut single Paranoid and a self-titled full-length stack angular guitars, breathy-to-scream vocals, and post-rock tension for Chess Club, HVML concert series, and rooms that want volume with melody every night.

Live they sell wired sets and no soft openers for the ATX rock circuit. Expect distortion surges and earworm choruses. Stream Paranoid, watch the live sets, and follow @topdowntx for tour dates and new drops as Topdown expands the lineup and hits the floor hard again.
