Tish & The Mizzbehavin

Tish & The Mizzbehavin Band is an Austin outfit serving up a lively collision of blues, funk, soul and rock with a strong party-band instinct. Led by a commanding vocalist and backed by a groove-conscious band, the group favors earthy soul harmonies, rugged guitar textures and rhythms built to pull people out of their chairs.

The band has been active around Austin and Central Texas for years, appearing at downtown clubs, patios, festivals and Hill Country venues. In 2017, Tish & The Mizzbehavin Band performed on FOX 7 Austin’s Music in the Morning, where they discussed upcoming shows and new material before delivering a live studio performance.

Their repertoire works across several lanes without losing the thread. Blues provides the grit, funk supplies the pocket and classic soul brings the vocal heat, while flashes of ’90s rock add a tougher edge. The band describes itself as a “rockin’ blues/funk/soul party band,” which gets right to the point.
