About

Samuel Timothy McGraw (born 1 May 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana) is one of modern country’s defining superstars—singer, songwriter, producer, and actor with more than 80 million records sold worldwide. Raised in northeast Louisiana, he learned at eleven that his biological father was MLB pitcher Tug McGraw; he later dropped out of college, moved to Nashville in 1989, and signed with Curb Records. After a quiet 1993 debut, Not a Moment Too Soon (1994) became the top country album of its year and launched a decades-long chart run that made him a fixture of country radio and stadium stages.

Across 17 studio albums (Curb, Big Machine, and Arista Nashville eras), McGraw has notched dozens of No. 1 country singles—including era-defining hits “It’s Your Love,” “Just to See You Smile,” and “Live Like You Were Dying”—plus three Grammy Awards, stacks of ACM and CMA hardware, and the historic Soul2Soul tours with wife Faith Hill. His sandy Southern delivery spans honky-tonk, Southern rock, and adult-contemporary country built for both radio and arenas.

Expect classic McGraw catalog energy—heartfelt ballads and high-energy country anthems—when he headlines Texas amphitheaters and arena dates.
