THE SLOPE

SLOPE (often billed as THE SLOPE) is a five-piece from Duisburg, Germany, formed in 2014 and known for a rare blend of hardcore energy with funk, groove, psychedelia, and left-field metal attitude. On Century Media’s Freak Dreams era, the band doubled down on that hybrid—songs that hit like hardcore but move with bass-forward funk and experimental color, earning write-ups that call them a “funk machine” as much as a punk unit.

Live, SLOPE is built for rooms that want motion: shout-along hardcore peaks, danceable low-end, and the kind of set that confuses and delights genre purists. Their touring footprint now includes U.S. club dates alongside European festival and club runs, with Austin’s Come and Take It Live among the 2026 stops.

Expect groovy, physical hardcore—not a straight mosh-only set, not a jam band, but the sweaty middle where funk and punk collide.
