The Shinglers

The Shinglers (often billed Shinglers) are Austin honky-tonk head music—traditional country meets psychedelic rock with pedal steel and electric guitar heat forged when members reconnected in ATX dancehalls. Album Hit the Head! and singles Treat Me Mean put the original Austin sound back on White Horse, Sagebrush, and Little Longhorn stages night after night; @shinglersatx and Bandcamp track the all-star lineup for rooms that want two-step grit without soft pop-country wallpaper. High-energy, steel-forward, built for the tonks and late-night dance floors.

Expect honky-tonk head music when The Shinglers hit the stage—Austin dancehall lifers, not a roofing-crew open mic.
