The High Divers

The High Divers are a Charleston, South Carolina rock band led by Luke and Mary Alice Mitchell, with Kevin Early on bass. Formed in 2014, the group blends heartland rock, Americana and psychedelic Southern rock with the kind of melodic songwriting that recalls Tom Petty, Wilco and Dr. Dog. Their live shows are known for a loose, full-band energy, while the songs carry a more reflective streak shaped by family, loss, resilience and life on the road.

The band’s catalog includes Riverlust, Chicora, the Sadler Vaden-produced Ride With You EP and the 2023 album Should I Be Worried? That record was recorded across Nashville and North Carolina and brought a broader, more psychedelic sound to songs written during several difficult years for the band.
