The Army, The Navy

The Army, The Navy is an American folk-pop duo of Maia Ciambriello and Sasha Goldberg, rooted in Mill Valley / Mount Tamalpais foothills of the San Francisco Bay Area. They studied under the same vocal coach, began with covers, then wrote in dorm rooms and as roommates—eventually locking into twin-voice folk-pop that tethers astral songwriting to natural-world imagery and emotional risk.

Debut album Fake Brave Life frames the act’s “fake bravery” theme: courage, desperation, and the artist’s insecurity of offering songs to a room. Live, the Fake Brave Tour expands the duo with full band (drums, guitar, strings, horns). Instagram @thearmy_thenavy and thearmythenavy.com push new singles and headline dates. Expect close harmonies, indie-folk dynamics, and intimate-to-full-band lift when The Army, The Navy hits U.S. club stages.
