The A-TX Rejects

The A-TX Rejects are an Austin-based tribute band built around the loud, scruffy glory of ’90s alternative rock and grunge. Their sets pull heavily from the era when distorted guitars, skate-punk hooks and flannel-shirt angst ruled rock radio, with songs associated with Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Sublime and other staples of the decade.

This is not a background-music operation. The band leans into the punch and immediacy of the original records, delivering a high-energy throwback show designed for packed bars, raised voices and audiences that still know every word. Their repertoire appears broad enough to move from grunge and alternative rock into punkier, funk-metal and heavier ’90s territory without losing the party-band momentum.

The A-TX Rejects have worked the Austin and Central Texas club circuit, with bookings at venues including Speakeasy, Lucky Rabbit, Shooters and Big Easy Saloon. Their appeal is straightforward: familiar anthems, muscular live energy and a setlist aimed directly at listeners who came of age on alternative radio—or wish they had.
