Takuya Nakamura

Takuya Nakamura is the Tokyo-born, New York–based trumpeter, composer, and DJ—George Russell student since 1990—whose live-trumpet-over-jungle sets on The Lot Radio, drum-and-bass and footwork hybrids, and three decades at the edge of jazz and electronics put cosmic breakbeat craft on stages from DJ Mag HQ to global club rooms. Collaborations touch Quincy Jones, A$AP Rocky, and Terry Riley; @space_tak tracks Cosmic Jungle nights and hybrid sets for rooms that want real jazz-electronic craft, not soft soft-EDM wallpaper. Trumpet on the breaks, still Takuya every single night on the road and stage.

Expect trumpet-jungle heat when Takuya Nakamura hits the stage—Lot Radio fire, not a random open-mic Takuya karaoke.
