Sweet Megg

Sweet Megg comes at honky-tonk from a slightly crooked angle. She can croon like an old jazz singer, swing like a Texas dance band and then turn around and kick into country with enough swagger to fill a barroom.

A New York native now based in Nashville, Megg spent years singing jazz in Paris and NYC before falling hard for country and western swing.

That history shows up onstage: smoky vocals, playful phrasing, sharp musicianship and a set that can wander from blues and swing into straight-up honky-tonk without losing the groove.

She’s got old-school style, but this isn’t nostalgia—it’s lively, loose and built for a room full of people ready to move.
