smush is Brooklyn shoegaze formed in Vancouver in 2022 by Emily Borrowman (bass, vocals) and Atley King (guitar)—My Bloody Valentine obsession turned East Coast haze with intelligible vocals, grunge weight, and dream-pop color. Debut album if you were here i'd be home now stacked soft-as-snow surfaces over heavy insides, drawing comparisons to Julie, feeble little horse, Slow Pulp, and Hotline TNT while keeping their own anxiety-era lyric edge.
