Smoov Q

DJ Smoov Q (Quentin Johnson) is an Austin-based open-format DJ originally from Houston who came to Central Texas via Texas State University and built a reputation as a crowd-reading party selector. He remixes and mashups hip-hop, pop, and club records, with Bandcamp edits and SoundCloud mixes under djsmoovq. Known for seamless transitions and high-energy open-format sets, he has held multiple downtown residencies and appears at Austin parties, travel gigs, and holiday weekends. Voyage Austin profiled his path from college aux-cord takeovers to professional club work, including years of 6th Street and nightlife experience. For edits, mixes, and booking, Instagram @djsmoovq and djsmoovq.bandcamp.com are primary.
