SLUSHII

Julian Michael Scanlan (born 1 May 1997 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey), known as Slushii (and earlier as DJ Swoon / sapientdream), is an American DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. He emerged in 2016 with the self-released debut Brain Freeze, blending sugary future bass and electro-house with bass-music drops, and quickly drew support from Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Skrillex, and labels including Monstercat, Mad Decent, Owsla, and NCS.

Hits such as “All I Need,” “LUV U NEED U,” and “Sober,” plus festival main stages (EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, HARD Summer, Reading + Leeds), made him a defining face of late-2010s melodic bass and dance-pop production. Earlier projects included prog-rock band Deuteronomy and duo Monsters With Tiny Mustaches before the Slushii brand stuck.

Expect colorful future bass and festival electronic energy when Slushii hits U.S. club and festival bills, including Texas electronic packages.
