Sleepytime Gorilla Museum

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum is the Oakland experimental metal institution—homemade instruments, theatrical storytelling, and Of Natural History-era extremity that put avant-metal on cult festival and club stages for decades, with a full-force return on U.S. West Coast and Eastern tour runs. Intricate musicianship and singular live chaos keep the museum open; @johnkanesociety and the official Linktree track dates for rooms that want real experimental metal craft, not soft prog wallpaper. Weird, heavy, still one of the most singular shows you’ll ever experience every single night on the road.

Expect avant-garde experimental metal when Sleepytime Gorilla Museum hits the stage—Oakland lifers, not a random open-mic gorilla.
