Sincere Engineer

Sincere Engineer is the Chicago punk band led by singer-guitarist Deanna Belos—with Adam Beck (drums), Kyle Geib (guitar), and Nick Arvanitis (bass)—dark, introspective songwriting from a Lawrence Arms–worshipping DIY scene that grew into Hopeless Records scale. Debut Rhombithian (Red Scare, 2017) led to Bless My Psyche, Cheap Grills, and Probable Claws (2026), plus relentless international touring and opens for punk’s premier acts. Belos’s ten-year documentary Nobody’s Gonna Do It For You and Audiotree sessions underline the goofball-onstage / heavy-lyric split that made the project a Midwest punk fixture.
