The Shufflehawks

Tight honky-tonk country, classic two-steps, shuffles, and waltzes with The Shufflehawks — one of Austin’s most engaging traditional country bands.

Rooted deep in the heart of Texas, the Shufflehawks bring back the sound and soul of the greats like Willie Nelson, George Strait, Waylon Jennings, and George Jones, with original songs and crowd-pleasing dance tunes that keep the dance floor moving all night long.

Led by singer-songwriter Mark Willenborg, the band champions a style he jokingly calls “NeoRetroAmeriCountry” — honest, heartfelt, and built for real honky-tonk energy. Whether it’s sentimental ballads about love and heartbreak or upbeat numbers that beg for a two-step, their set delivers both feel-good fun and authentic country spirit.
