Loose Screws & Rusty Hearts

Loose Screws & Rusty Hearts are an Austin-area country and roots band with a rough-edged sound shaped by brewery porches, neighborhood bars, dance halls and small Texas stages. Their music leans into old-fashioned country while leaving room for roots rock, fiddle-driven arrangements and the loose energy of a working bar band.

The band has built its following the traditional way—playing frequently, working local rooms and turning each set into an easygoing night of songs, dancing and familiar Texas character. They have appeared around Austin and Central Texas at venues including Banger’s, Jester King Brewery, Hole in the Wall and Radio/East.

It's country music without the glossy finish: sturdy rhythms, honest vocals, fiddle in the mix and enough rock-and-roll looseness to keep the show from feeling overly polished.
