About

Reverend Horton Heat is both Jim “Reverend Horton” Heath’s stage name and his Dallas psychobilly / rockabilly trio—formed mid-’80s in Deep Ellum with Jimbo Wallace on upright bass and a revolving drum throne (Jonathan Jeter in current lineups). Sub Pop / Interscope / Yep Roc eras made Psychobilly Freakout, 400 Bucks, and Big Red Rocket of Love underground rock standards; Gretsch-fueled guitar sermons, slap-bass thunder, and forty years of road work keep the tent revival packing clubs and festivals. Corpus Christi–raised Heath channels Jerry Lee, Little Richard, Willie, and Merle Travis into punk-speed rockabilly rather than museum reenactment.

reverendhortonheat.com and @reverendhortonheat track tour. Expect psychobilly freakouts and rockabilly fire when Reverend Horton Heat hits the stage—Dallas trio lifers, not a church sermon or a mild swing dance lesson.
