Resound Presents: Sweet Pill

Sweet Pill is the Philadelphia emo band formed 2018 as a Rowan University senior project—vocalist Zayna Youssef, guitarists Jayce Williams and Sean McCall, bassist Ryan Cullen, drummer Chris Kearney—who moved to Philly and tied into the 4333 Collective scene. Topshelf Records catalog runs Lost In It EP through debut LP Where the Heart Is (2022), Starchild and Unraveled EPs, and 2026’s Still There’s a Glow: eruptive emo that pulls hardcore weight and pop-sugar anxiety into one elastic voice, compared to Paramore-meets-Circa Survive territory without the nostalgia trap.
