Oreja

Oreja is an Austin math-rock and progressive project influenced by Frank Zappa-level odd meters and genre-jumping hooks—originals like A Sharp New One, Linear, and Learning To Overcome filmed at Space ATX, Trailr Park Studios, and 512 Studios Live. FOX 7 Austin and Come And Take It Records coverage frame catchy hooks inside progressive structures, with San Jac Saloon calendar history and Rhythm Revival showcase slots putting the band on Sixth Street alongside country neighbors.

Instagram still posts San Jac original sets and downtown cover streams, documenting a working Austin band that thrives in both club and progressive rooms. Live identity is full-band electric energy, cap-and-beard frontman presence, and progressive riffs for multi-hour bookings.

HeyAustin catalogs Oreja so San Jac and Austin progressive listings can match by name and inherit a full artist profile—bio, video, and imagery—when the calendar only prints the act name and time.
