Nonsense

Nonsense is a local Austin act with a recurring early-evening footprint on the Carousel Lounge calendar—often the 6–7pm slot that kicks off a multi-band night at the city’s longest-serving live music venue. Like many Carousel bookings, the listing is about neighborhood dive energy: original music for regulars and passers-through under the pink elephant, before later headliners take over.

Public discography and national press remain thin; what is documented is calendar presence on Austin’s Eastside dive circuit, the same ecosystem that hosts songwriter nights, punk packages, and working local bands. The page reflects honest local depth rather than invented catalog claims.

Expect local Austin club energy on the Carousel early bill when Nonsense is booked—catch them before the later set if you want the full night under one roof.
