nervous

nervous is an independent Austin five-piece colored by emo, rock, and Americana—self-branded “yallternative” sad tunes from the 512. Songwriter Drew Carter started the project in 2020; the full band locks Matthew Ferguson, Ezekiel, and co. into melodic grit that DO512 and SXSW bills have put on hometown and festival stages.

Studio C Sessions and Bandcamp drops map the current heat: earnest vocals, guitar-forward arrangements, and cereal-commercial internet charm without soft edges. Expect heart-on-sleeve hooks and Texas room energy. Stream the catalog on Bandcamp and Spotify, watch the Studio C set, and follow @nervous.band for booking, acoustic EPs, and tour dates.
