About

Nate Boff is an American blues guitarist and singer based in Austin, Texas. Originally from Defiance, Ohio, he cut his teeth in bars and clubs after high school, opening for Joe Bonamassa, Ted Nugent, George Thorogood, Lonnie Brooks, Chris Duarte, and others before relocating to Texas in 2008 to chase the capital’s world-class blues and roots scene.

Since the move he has performed and sat in with Anson Funderburgh, Gary Clark Jr., Alan Haynes, Lavelle White, Charley Crockett, Dale Watson, and more, while working bands including Michael Milligan and Texiana Bluez, The Black Owl Society, and the local super-group The Ruins with Jay Moeller, Roger Wallace, and Jason Crisp. Rhythm sections over the years have featured bassists such as Jason Crisp, Jackie Newhouse, the late Preston Hubbard, and Ronnie James Weber, and drummers including Jay Moeller, Wes Starr, Mike Buck, and others.

Expect fuzzed-out blues guitar and soulful vocals in regular rotation at Antone’s, C-Boy’s, Ginny’s Little Longhorn, the Continental Club, and classic club stages when Nate Boff plays Austin.
