Murphy's Inlaws

Murphy’s InLaws are longtime Austin musicians Mike Jackson and Craig Calvert, a guitar-playing duo known for big harmonies, sharp musicianship and the ability to make two players sound like a much larger band.

The pair have performed together across North America and Europe, building a deep songbook that moves easily through rock, country, folk, pop and familiar dance-floor favorites.

Around Austin, Murphy’s InLaws are closely associated with Donn’s Depot, the wonderfully old-school West Fifth Street honky-tonk where polished players, regular crowds and spontaneous musical moments are still part of the deal.

Their shows are loose, friendly and built for a good night out—strong guitar work, crowd-pleasing songs and harmonies from two seasoned local performers who know how to read a room.

They bring plenty of energy without the machinery of a full band, making the set feel personal while still keeping the dance floor moving.
