Monster Big Band

Monster Big Band is Austin’s favorite eighteen-piece big band—members drawn from Mingo Fishtrap, Los Jazz Vatos, The Lucky Strikes, The Atlantics, and more—whose monthly Elephant Room blowouts cover everything from Sinatra to Ella to Black with brass-section heat that shakes downtown jazz basements. Elephant Room calendars track the Monster for rooms that want real big-band craft, not soft soft-smooth dinner wallpaper. Eighteen-piece wall-down energy, still Monster Big Band every single night on the road and stage around Austin and beyond.

Expect big-band heat when Monster Big Band hits the stage—Elephant Room fire and brass punch, not a random open-mic Monster karaoke.
