Mixer Rogers

Mixer Rogers is an Austin DJ with more than two decades in the local scene—professional for over a decade—and a two-time Austin Music Awards Best DJ nominee (including 2019 and 2024/2025 cycles). He spins an eclectic, soulful mix that moves from classic cumbia and soul to indie rock and hip-hop, always aiming for fun, funky, and upbeat dance floors. Rogers moved to Austin in 1995 to play drums and never left the music community; today he works clubs, private events, corporate parties, and residencies across the city. His open-format selector style prioritizes song choice, vibe, and musicality over pure turntablism tricks, often featuring Austin artists in the mix. The site mixerrogers.com documents ongoing nights, special series such as Austin-centric sets, and booking info. Find him on Instagram @mixerrogers and SoundCloud for mixes and updates.
