Lost Austin Band

Lost Austin Band is Craig Hillis, Bill Browder, David Moerbe, Ernie Gammage, and Patterson Barrett—the 1970s Texas roots crew who were making the music when Austin became Austin—returning as a unit with songs and stories that created a special time in Lone Star music. Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame 2016 inductees; lostaustinband.com and Saxon Pub afternoons track Cowboy Twinkies-adjacent heat for rooms that want real Americana craft, not soft soft-cover wallpaper. Hillis put the group together in 2014; still lost and found every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect classic Texas roots heat when Lost Austin Band hits the stage—1970s ATX fire, not a random open-mic Lost karaoke.
