KNIFEPRTY

KNIFEPRTY (stylized after Deftones’ White Pony track “Knife Prty”) is a Deftones tribute band based out of Corpus Christi, Texas—the Lone Star State’s dedicated Deftones tribute act. Instagram and Facebook brand the project as true to the sound and mood of Chino Moreno’s band: nu-metal atmosphere, heavy riffs, and the dark, sensual edge of White Pony–era sets rather than a generic metal covers night.

They share bills with other tribute acts on the Texas rock circuit (including packages with Imperfect Circle / A Perfect Circle tributes) and play Austin and statewide rooms for fans who want Deftones deep cuts and album-era fidelity. The name deliberately points at the source material while keeping the project distinct from Australian EDM duo Knife Party.

Expect Deftones-true metal and alternative heaviness—White Pony mood, volume, and atmosphere—when KNIFEPRTY hits Texas tribute and rock-club bills.
