KITCHEN KNIVES

Kitchen Knives is an indie / shoegaze project known for hazy guitars, emotional vocals, and a washed-out wall of sound that sits somewhere between dream pop and heavier alternative rock. Tracks like “If It's Not Gonna Be You” and the 2026 release Over My Head have circulated among shoegaze listeners looking for new bands that still chase texture and feeling over polish.

Live, the group leans into volume and atmosphere—the kind of set that fills a mid-size room with reverb and feedback while still leaving space for hooks. They're on the touring and local-circuit path that brings rising independent rock acts through Austin clubs, including dates at Come and Take It Live.

If you like loud guitars with a melodic core and songs that reward volume over chatter, Kitchen Knives is built for that late-night club energy.
