Kirk V

Kirk V is an Austin-area project tied to musician Kirk VanLaningham (@kirkes345), with a growing run of bookings at the legendary Carousel Lounge—early and mid-evening slots that put original music on the same stage as decades of East Austin dive history. First announced gigs at Carousel (including Saturday early sets) frame the act as a working local band stepping into one of the city’s most enduring live rooms.

Press and catalog details remain thinner than touring headliners; the reliable signal is calendar presence and local socials building a live reputation rather than a long major-label story. That fits the Carousel model: neighborhood nights, original songs, and a crowd that shows up for the room as much as the flyer.

Expect local Austin rock and songwriter energy when Kirk V plays Carousel Lounge and related dive bills—early sets for people who want live music before the late bill takes over.
