John Prather

John Prather is a McAllen-born, Austin-based solo acoustic singer-guitarist with more than two decades of live performance experience—classic rock, 90s rock, and today's country hits for bars, weddings, and corporate rooms. He moved to Austin in 2001, cut his teeth with the band Nothing Left on historic Sixth Street, and since 2010 has focused on a full-time solo career that still lands him on San Jac Saloon's public calendars among the venue's more frequent names.
