John Mills TIMES TEN

John Mills TIMES TEN is Austin’s high-energy ten-piece jazz fusion ensemble led by saxophonist, composer, and arranger Dr. John Mills—original charts with an all-star cast of local players and rich horn textures. Mills has been a key voice in progressive Austin bands since the ’70s (Starcrost, Beto y los Fairlanes, Dan Del Santo’s era orbits) and now focuses TIMES TEN exclusively on his compositions across multiple releases and long Elephant Room / Hank’s Jazz residencies. Austin Jazz Society Hall of Fame recognition underlines decades of educator-performer craft behind the fusion powerhouse.

drjohnmillsmusic.com tracks projects. Expect original jazz-fusion heat and stacked horns when John Mills TIMES TEN hits the stage—ten-piece Austin institution, not a standards-only big-band night.
