Jamie Krueger Group

Jamie Krueger Group brings the kind of Texas blues-rock that works best with a cold drink and a room full of people who don’t mind a little volume.

The Austin-area outfit leans on gritty guitar, soulful vocals and a rhythm section that knows how to settle into a groove and stay there.

There’s plenty of blues at the core, but the band stretches into roots rock, funk and Americana without making a big deal out of the genre lines.

Their regular blues-jam gigs tell you a lot about the show: loose, collaborative and built around players who like to trade licks and see where the song goes.
