James Shelton's Steel Guitar

James Shelton's Steel Guitar is the Austin premier pedal-steel project of three-decade pro James Shelton—full-time since age eighteen in 1989—whose Steel Monday nights at Sam’s Town Point, Sagebrush sittings with Jake Penrod, and session-and-teaching heat put dobro, banjo, lap steel, and vocals on East Side honky-tonk calendars. @jamessheltonsteelplayer tracks gigs for rooms that want real country craft, not soft soft-bro wallpaper. Steel Monday energy, still James Shelton every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect pedal-steel heat when James Shelton's Steel Guitar hits the stage—Sam’s Town Point fire, not a random open-mic steel karaoke.
