Jake DeCasper

Jake DeCasper—also billed as JD Casper—is an Austin singer-songwriter and one-man-band stylist known for suitcase kick drum, harmonica, guitar, and high-energy country-bluegrass sets. San Jac Saloon calendars list both Jake DeCasper and JD Casper among frequent historical names, including Country Fest lineups alongside Chris Ray and Aaron Navarro, with downstairs multi-hour bookings that mark him as a working Sixth Street regular.

His live catalog includes original Sing'n Pick'n Cowboy at Banger's, covers from Tyler Childers to Wildflowers, and the bluegrass spin on Post Malone's Chemical for the Pickin' On series. Instagram and Facebook document Orb Studios sessions, SXSW beer-garden originals, and a cowboy-hat, denim-jacket stage identity that fits both solo acoustic and full-band rooms.

On HeyAustin, Jake DeCasper is cataloged so San Jac listings can match by name or JD Casper alias and inherit a complete artist profile—bio, video, and imagery—when the calendar only prints the act and a start time.
