Iron & Embers

Iron & Embers is the Austin old-time, country, and gospel string project centered on Molly Johnson (vocals, banjo, mandolin, guitar) and Ben Hayes with rotating friends—bridging front-porch repertoires and honky-tonk stages for rooms that want real early-American craft, not soft soft-background karaoke wallpaper. ironembersatx.com, AFTM Old Time Night at Batch, Austin String Band Festival, and Carousel Lounge bills put the band under dance-hall and festival lights across Texas. Dynamic-duo roots grown into a full old-time unit: fiddle heat, banjo punch, and gospel grit still Iron & Embers every night they take a local stage on the map.

Expect folk-Americana heat when Iron & Embers hits the stage—old-time fire and string-band punch, not a random open-mic playlist set.
