Improvement Movement

Improvement Movement is an Atlanta acoustic-grunge and prog-folk quartet—Tony Aparo, Clark Hamilton, Marshall Ruffin, and Zach Pyles—billing themselves as a social betterment campaign with four-part harmonies and stage-first heat. Emerging from the city’s DIY and free-jazz edges, they broke wider with Don’t Delay, Join Today! and the My Team video era, then stacked national routing including Iron & Wine support and a Your Perfect Real Live tour.

The 2026 album Your Perfect Real Life (ATO) pushes the catalog with singles like “I Do,” parking-lot live clips, and Relix-session polish. Expect harmony stacks, psych-folk swirl, and cultish charm without the soft edges.
