Howard Jones

Howard Jones (John Howard Jones, b. 1955) is the British synth-pop / new-wave songwriter who scored ten UK top-40 hits between 1983 and 1986—Things Can Only Get Better, What Is Love?, New Song, Like to Get to Know You Well, and Hide & Seek among Live Aid–era staples still packing amphitheater tours. Steinway Artist and SGI Buddhist, he keeps writing (Stand Up single, Things Can Only Get Better Tour 2026) with the same melodic optimism that defined mid-80s pop. howardjones.com and @thehowardjones track US and UK dates—classic new-wave craft for rooms that want pure HoJo heat, not a metal vocalist namesake mix-up.

Expect synth-pop sing-alongs when Howard Jones hits the stage—UK new-wave legend, not Light the Torch’s Howard Jones.
