Hit the Lights is an American pop-punk band from Lima, Ohio, formed in 2003 and named after a line from the skateboarding film Gleaming the Cube. They became a staple of mid-2000s pop-punk with a kinetic mix of shout-along hooks, emo-tinged melodies, and high-energy live shows, selling well over 100,000 records across their career.
