Grouchy Like Riley

Grouchy Like Riley is the Austin Americana trio of veteran players Danny Britt, Chip Dolan, and Marvin Dykhuis—Still, Human Kindness, and nine-plus releases—whose folk-to-country-and-classic-rock heat has owned Tuesday nights at Donn’s Depot (8:30 to midnight, no cover) plus Saxon Pub early bills for decades of listening-room craft. grouchylikeriley.com tracks the residency for rooms that want real americana craft, not soft soft-background cover wallpaper. Still grouchy energy, still Riley every single night on the road and stage around Austin.

Expect americana heat when Grouchy Like Riley hits the stage—Donn’s Depot fire, not a random open-mic Riley karaoke.
