Goofus

Goofus is an Austin indie rock band posted as @howaboutgoofus and built for Chess Club nights, EP release parties, and multi-band bills that reward loud choruses. Their 2024 Wish You Were Here! EP stacks sticky cuts like “In The Way,” “Mini-Death,” “End Scenes,” and the title track, with the earlier single “Dimed” pointing the same direction: bright guitar, melodic vocals, and hooks that stick after one listen.

Live they play like a hometown unit still hungry for rooms learning the words—full-band push without major-label gloss. Catch the Brushy Street Commons live set on film, stream Wish You Were Here! and Dimed, and follow @howaboutgoofus for dates, openers, and new drops as they hit streaming.
