Gene Ross

Gene Ross is a North Texas post-hardcore and metalcore band that began as a solo project for vocalist Gene Orozco and grew into a full DFW unit. Dallas Observer and local press clock the sound as bruising and intricate—metalcore foundations with emotional alternative-heavy edges and a friendship-first band culture that still hits hard onstage every night.

Singles and EPs including “Parasite” and “If I Die Tonight” put the catalog on streaming and live bills across Dallas rooms and co-headline tours. Expect dense riffs, cathartic vocals, and no half-measures. Stream Parasite, watch the live clip, and follow @generossisaband for studio updates and tour dates.
