Fred Spence

Fred Spence is a New Orleans–raised, Austin-based singer-songwriter and multi-project musician whose San Jac Saloon calendar history ranks him among frequent historical names on the main room schedule. Genres for his projects run from rock to country to alt-country; ReverbNation and local listings frame a bluesy, fun Americana style, with bass and vocals work across Austin bands including stints supporting Central Texas country groups.

Live clips place him at Patsy's Cowgirl Cafe, Buddy's Place jams, and multi-hour bar sets with acoustic guitar and hat—the same working Sixth Street energy that filled San Jac slots year after year. FOX 7 Music in the Morning appearances and permanent relocation to Austin mark a full-time local career rather than a one-off walk-through.

On HeyAustin, Fred Spence is cataloged so San Jac and Austin circuit listings can match by name and inherit a full artist profile—bio, video, and imagery—when the calendar only prints the act name and a start time.
